Hi Glenda,

Not sure about out 'dere in Newfie Land? But it has been an awfully 
dry season in most parts of Canada. Bears are eating anything they can, 
with the lack of berrries. 

Out here, if an animal is destroying your crop you can shoot it on 
your land to protect your agi product, whatever it is. - If I were you, 
I would  call the Ministry of Natrual Resources in your parts and see 
what they suggest? Sometimes you will have to read between the lines in 
what they tell you, if they don't have a clear cut solution.
