Nicholas,
Having used both, I suggest that you use 12.5 gauge hi tensile
galvanized wire. Its only disadvantage vs polyester is weight and
handling. Once you gain skill in working with it, those negatives are
minor. It is less expensive and even has a scrap value at the end of its
useful life.
