[Growwine] Wind Knocks Down St. Catherine grapes

The damage of wind, hail and rain at Puddicombe's was well documented on
CITY TV yesterday. CITY TV visited us as well and showed on TV yesterday the
rain damage on raspberries. We have received more than four inches of rain
since Sunday. It was our turn to receive hail today plus more than an inch
of rain. I was in Peterborough visiting my father in hospital and missed the
chaos here. I'll assess the damage tomorrow. What a difference a year makes.

And I heard on the Hamilton radio that Puddicombe Farms suffered $100,000
worth of damage in a hailstorm, and that there had been a slick of ice on
the major highway as well.

 

what a shitty year in Ontario, yet I hear of drought south of us.
