well it's intended to be insurance not annual income :-) the hope is that we
should only have to collect on it occasionally.

Laura. The insurance is at 80% for the first year not the second an so on I
was a crop insurance agent for twenty years in the fruit an grain area of
niagara.After so many claims your payments stay the same but what you get
back is far less. Maurice.

thank goodness for crop insurance which is cost shared by the Province.
THese people will receive 80% of their expected gross income on these lost
crops. 

And they don;t have to pick, pack or ship :-) 

 

While we bash the government often, it is nice to stop and think about that
fact that some of these tax dollars do come back to help us.

worth of damage in a hailstorm, and that there had been a slick of ice on
the major highway as well.

 

what a shitty year in Ontario, yet I hear of drought south of us.
