[Canada Vintage]

Making wine is relatively
environmentally friendly with minimal carbon output. But when you ship
that wine across the globe, well....here lies the problem.  It isn't
about shipping wine as much as it is about shipping tons of glass
bottles with a little bit of wine in it. Then the carbon output is
massive and the Mesozoics don't want to pay for that through their
already inflated profit margins.  

Recycling and environmental concerns have nothing to do with alternative packaging. It's all about the bottom line.  With transport costs soaring, the idea to ship more with less is pretty much the standard policy within many organizations including Mesozoic monopolies such as the LCBO, SAQ, SLGA, etc...

Something really wrong with drinking anything out of polyethylene terephthalate!

Hamilton Spec had the same story.When you can recycle glass 100% compared to other products you wonder.Is this ROCKET SCIENCE.   Maurice.
