Hi Larry! Sounds like gypsy moth? There is some kind of spray that affects them biologically. It is not a chemical. An area adjacent to us was just aerial sprayed. Can't tell you the name, but I bet Phil Ryan can. Ciao, Margaret

We are having a problem with some small (about 1 cm long) black worms on the leaves. In some cases they have almost defoliated entire vines.
What is available to fight these (safely) without special access to chemicals?
