We have 9% OM soil so the 3th year we can leave a good 3 tons per acre with
Frontenac here in St-Paul d'Abbotsford .

I would not push for grapes for 3 years regardless of the location. You need
to drop the crop on purpose in order to give them enough time to establish a
healthy root system and trunk. Push them too hard too fast and you may have
problems down the road in regards to winter hardiness and then die back and
problems like crown gall can set in. Therefore you do not need nets for
quite some time.

Because no one has tried grapes in my location I'm testing Frontenac,
Frontenac gris, St. Croix, Sabrevois, King of the North and Trollhaugen.
Soil is sandy loam, granite ledges run north south and will need to be
planted around, close to ocean so salt may be a factor.
