Well said--that seems to be a problem in many areas nowadays.  The assumption is often that because life is so hurried, and the most important thing is to be competitive, people have no patience to scratch beneath the surface of things so all that matters is that the outside be cosmetically perfect and catchy...who cares about the foundation.  

I hope our culture eventually recovers from this state of affairs, and not only where food is concerned!
