based on our experience in Peterborough, the more sun you can get on the DM 
8521-1 grapes once they change colour the better.  I thought that they made 
a good minor contribution to the Peterborough blend.

anyone made an '07 ?

this Fall should be a good harvest at Clos Compton (well, off 15 plants).

Previous reports on the so-so-ness of the wine had made me disappointed 
about
my choice, but the recent post about riparias wines AND the incredible 
status
of the vines this Spring (high %bud break, spring frost tolerence, etc) has 
me
thinking it has to get a good try before being culled for something else.
